Operation Bravo grew out of Jeff Bornstein’s own military service. He served with the U.S. Army’s 3rd Infantry Division, 103rd Military Intelligence Battalion, stationed in Würzburg, Germany during the Cold War, working in military intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance.

After leaving the Army, Jeff began a career in entertainment, first as a Hollywood stuntman and later as a professional magician.

In 2004, he was invited to join five comedians on an overseas tour entertaining U.S. troops during Operation Iraqi Freedom. The group traveled through five countries and performed 32 shows in just 23 days.

That experience became the inspiration for Operation Bravo.

Today, Operation Bravo brings together magicians, comedians, musicians and specialty performers with one purpose: to bring laughter, entertainment and a much-needed boost in morale to U.S. service members at home and abroad.
